    Newest truck in the 12's!

    Went to TLOC's (Tidewater Lightning Owners Club) track rental at MIR (Maryland Int'l Raceway) today had a great time!

    First couple of passes were 13.000 @ 105 ended up with 12.76 @ 106.7 w/ 1.794 60'

    Now I want to go faster, we all agree I gotta a 12.5 just need to get a set of 28" tires instead of the 26" I was running on.

    TLOC will be renting the track out again sometime in May 2006 I'll post up the date and time when it is released. Would've been nice to see a couple of HD's there.

    I did get to meet and hang out with "Smoke" from the SRT10 boards. Great guy with a really fast Quad Cab. He finished the day with a 12.72 @ 110.
    BTW both our trucks weighed in at 5300 lbs. (minus driver).

    Mods are....

    Stock blower with Seig's Stage III port, CAI, 2.8 upper, JLP 6# lower, SCT tuned by JJ@WMS, Factory Tech VB and a descent set or 26" ET streets plus the normal 4" drop shackles, 58" torque bars. Made all passes with the 20's on the front. I hope someone got some pics of my truck with that set up on there. The rear looked like it was gonna drag going down the track. lol``

    Dang man... so you pulled a 1.7 on the stock converter? Thats amazing. Great times! That port job must reaaaaaly help out. I've got about the same mods but can't even get close to that yet...maybe low 13's but not 12's.

    1.794 short time on the stock convertor. I don't know that I want to swap it out for anything else. I like the drivability of the truck as it is. Maybe.... hmmm lol


    Are you running any type of drag tire?

    Thank you Bob. Still haven't attempted to tow my boat with it yet. Maybe next season.
